Main Ingredients
- 4 eggs
- 2 cups milk
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ¼ teaspoon nutmeg optional
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). 
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, sugar, and vanilla extract until well combined. 
- Pour the mixture into a baking dish. Sprinkle nutmeg on top if using. 
- Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes or until the custard is set and a knife inserted in the center comes out clean. 
- Allow to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!
