Ingredients

  • 4 ripe tomatoes, chopped
  • ¼ cup fresh basil, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 baguette, sliced
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix tomatoes, basil, garlic, balsamic vinegar, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  3. Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet and toast in the oven for 5-7 minutes.
  4. Top each slice with the tomato mixture and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
  5. Serve immediately.
