Ingredients

  • 4 cups Day-old bread, cubed
  • 2 cups Milk
  • 3 Eggs
  • 0.5 cup Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 0.5 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 cup Raisins (optional)

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. Place the cubed bread in a baking dish and pour the milk mixture over it. Let it sit for about 10 minutes to soak.
  4. If using, sprinkle the raisins over the top.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a knife inserted into the center comes out clean.
  6. Let it cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!
