Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup rice uncooked
  • 1 lb chicken cut into pieces
  • 1 piece onion chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 piece ginger sliced
  • 6 cups chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon pepper to taste
  • 2 pieces green onions chopped, for garnish
  • 1 piece lemon sliced, for garnish

Instructions 

  1. 1. Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat. Sauté garlic, onion, and ginger until fragrant.
  2. 2. Add chicken pieces and cook until lightly browned.
  3. 3. Stir in rice and cook for a few minutes, coating the rice with the oil and aromatics.
  4. 4. Pour in chicken broth and fish sauce. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 30-40 minutes, stirring occasionally, until rice is fully cooked and the mixture has thickened.
  5. 5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. 6. Serve hot, garnished with green onions and lemon slices.
