Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 whole Chicken cut into pieces
  • 2 cups Carrots sliced
  • 1 cup Celery sliced
  • 1 large Onion chopped
  • 3 cloves Garlic minced
  • 8 cups Chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon Salt to taste
  • ½ teaspoon Black pepper to taste
  • 2 teaspoon Dried thyme
  • 2 teaspoon Dried parsley

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a large pot, heat some oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, and sauté until fragrant.
  2. 2. Add the chicken pieces to the pot and cook until they are browned on all sides.
  3. 3. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and let it simmer.
  4. 4. Add the sliced carrots, celery, dried thyme, dried parsley, salt, and black pepper. Let it cook for about 30 minutes or until the vegetables are tender.
  5. 5. Taste and adjust the seasoning if necessary. Serve hot.
