  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 large Onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 1 can Kidney Beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can Chopped Tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoon Tomato Paste
  • 1 cup Beef Broth
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Chili Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper

Instructions 

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add the chopped onion and cook until translucent, about 5 minutes.
  3. Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  4. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up with a wooden spoon.
  5. Stir in the kidney beans, chopped tomatoes, tomato paste, and beef broth.
  6. Add the ground cumin, chili powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Stir well.
  7. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 45 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  8. Serve hot with your favorite toppings.
