Instructions
1. In a large pot, cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside.
2. In the same pot, add the onion and garlic. Cook until softened.
3. Add the potatoes, celery, and carrots. Cook for about 5 minutes.
4. Pour in the clam juice and chicken broth. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until vegetables are tender.
5. Stir in the clams, heavy cream, salt, and pepper. Heat through, but do not boil.
6. Serve hot, garnished with the crispy bacon.
