Ingredients 

Doughnut Ingredients

  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 2 tablespoon Butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 unit Egg
  • 1 quart Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions 

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, mix milk, melted butter, vanilla extract, and egg.
  3. Combine wet and dry ingredients until a dough forms.
  4. Roll out the dough on a floured surface and cut with a doughnut cutter.
  5. Heat oil in a frying pan to 375°F (190°C).
  6. Fry doughnuts until golden brown, about 1 minute per side.
  7. Drain on paper towels and let cool before serving.
