Doughnut Ingredients
- 2 cups All-purpose flour
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1 tablespoon Baking powder
- ½ teaspoon Salt
- 1 cup Milk
- 2 tablespoon Butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
- 1 unit Egg
- 1 quart Vegetable oil for frying
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. 
- In another bowl, mix milk, melted butter, vanilla extract, and egg. 
- Combine wet and dry ingredients until a dough forms. 
- Roll out the dough on a floured surface and cut with a doughnut cutter. 
- Heat oil in a frying pan to 375°F (190°C). 
- Fry doughnuts until golden brown, about 1 minute per side. 
- Drain on paper towels and let cool before serving.
