Ingredients

  • 8 large eggs
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • 8 slices bread
  • 1 cup lettuce

Instructions 

  1. 1. Boil the eggs for about 10 minutes. Let them cool, then peel and chop.
  2. 2. In a mixing bowl, combine chopped eggs, mayonnaise, mustard, dill, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  3. 3. Spread the egg salad mixture onto slices of bread. Add lettuce if desired. Top with another slice of bread.
  4. 4. Serve immediately or refrigerate for later.
