Eggnog Recipe
A classic holiday drink made with eggs, milk, and spices.

Main Ingredients
- 4 cups milk
- 5 eggs separated
- ¾ cup sugar
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
- ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
In a saucepan, heat milk over medium heat until steaming.
In a mixing bowl, whisk egg yolks and sugar until thick and pale.
Gradually whisk hot milk into egg mixture. Return to saucepan and cook over low heat until thickened.
Remove from heat and stir in cream, vanilla, nutmeg, and cinnamon. Let cool.
In a separate bowl, beat egg whites until soft peaks form. Fold into cooled mixture.
Chill before serving. Garnish with additional nutmeg if desired.
