Eggnog Recipe
A classic holiday drink made with eggs, milk, and spices.

Main Ingredients
- 4 cups milk
- 5 eggs separated
- ¾ cup sugar
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
- ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- In a saucepan, heat milk over medium heat until steaming. 
- In a mixing bowl, whisk egg yolks and sugar until thick and pale. 
- Gradually whisk hot milk into egg mixture. Return to saucepan and cook over low heat until thickened. 
- Remove from heat and stir in cream, vanilla, nutmeg, and cinnamon. Let cool. 
- In a separate bowl, beat egg whites until soft peaks form. Fold into cooled mixture. 
- Chill before serving. Garnish with additional nutmeg if desired.
