Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb White fish fillets cut into chunks
  • 2 cups Potatoes peeled and diced
  • 1 cup Onion chopped
  • 2 cups Milk
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoon Butter
  • 1 teaspoon Salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper to taste

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and cook until translucent.
  2. 2. Add the diced potatoes and enough water to cover them. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer until the potatoes are tender.
  3. 3. Add the fish chunks to the pot and cook until the fish is opaque and flakes easily.
  4. 4. Stir in the milk and heavy cream. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Heat through, but do not boil.
  5. 5. Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
