- 1 lb Roast beef, thinly sliced
- 4 French rolls, split
- 8 slices Provolone cheese
- 2 cups Beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Onion powder
- to taste Salt and pepper
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. In a skillet, heat the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder over medium heat until simmering. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
3. Add the sliced roast beef to the skillet and heat until warmed through, about 5 minutes.
4. Place the French rolls on a baking sheet. Layer each roll with roast beef and top with 2 slices of provolone cheese.
5. Bake in the preheated oven until the cheese is melted and the rolls are toasted, about 5 minutes.
6. Serve the sandwiches with a small bowl of the au jus (the beef broth mixture) for dipping.
