Cobbler Ingredients
- 4 cups fresh cherries pitted
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 cup milk
- ½ cup unsalted butter melted
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine the cherries and half of the sugar. Set aside.
In another bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, salt, and remaining sugar.
Add the milk and melted butter to the dry ingredients. Stir until just combined.
Pour the batter into a greased baking dish. Spoon the cherry mixture over the batter.
Bake for 40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!
