Cobbler Ingredients
- 4 cups fresh cherries pitted
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 cup milk
- ½ cup unsalted butter melted
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). 
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cherries and half of the sugar. Set aside. 
- In another bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, salt, and remaining sugar. 
- Add the milk and melted butter to the dry ingredients. Stir until just combined. 
- Pour the batter into a greased baking dish. Spoon the cherry mixture over the batter. 
- Bake for 40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean. 
- Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!
