  • 1 cup All-purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 cup Buttermilk
  • 2 cups Vegetable Oil for frying

Instructions 

  1. 1. Rinse the soft shell crabs and pat them dry.
  2. 2. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, salt, and black pepper.
  3. 3. Dip each crab into the buttermilk, then dredge in the flour mixture.
  4. 4. Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat.
  5. 5. Fry the crabs for about 3-4 minutes on each side, until golden brown and crispy.
  6. 6. Remove the crabs from the pan and drain on paper towels.
