Hamburger Steak with Onions and Gravy

Main Ingredients
- 1 lb Ground Beef
- 1 Egg
- ¼ cup Bread Crumbs
- 1 Onion, chopped
- ½ teaspoon Salt
- ¼ teaspoon Black Pepper
- 2 tablespoon Vegetable Oil
- 2 cups Beef Broth
- 1 tablespoon Cornstarch
- ¼ cup Water
In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, egg, bread crumbs, chopped onion, salt, and pepper. Mix well and form into patties.
Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook patties until browned on both sides. Remove from skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add sliced onions and cook until caramelized. Add beef broth and bring to a simmer.
In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water to make a slurry. Add to the skillet and stir until the gravy thickens.
Return patties to the skillet and simmer for another 10 minutes. Serve hot.
