Main Ingredients
- 1 lb Ground Beef
- 4 slices Texas Toast
- 2 cups French Fries cooked
- 2 cups Cheddar Cheese shredded
- 1 cup Milk
- 2 tablespoon Butter
- 2 tablespoon Flour
- to taste Salt
- to taste Pepper
1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Season with salt and pepper.
3. While the beef is cooking, prepare the cheese sauce. Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute. Gradually whisk in milk and cook until thickened. Add shredded cheddar cheese and stir until melted and smooth.
4. Toast the Texas toast slices in the oven until golden brown.
5. Assemble the horseshoe: Place a slice of Texas toast on a plate, top with cooked ground beef, then a generous portion of French fries. Pour cheese sauce over the top.
6. Serve immediately and enjoy!
