- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 head cabbage chopped
- 1 cup carrots sliced
- 1 cup celery chopped
- 1 large onion diced
- 4 cups beef broth
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
Turn on the Instant Pot and select the sauté function. Add the ground beef and cook until browned. Drain any excess fat.
Add the onion, garlic, carrots, and celery to the pot. Cook for about 5 minutes, until the vegetables are softened.
Add the chopped cabbage, beef broth, diced tomatoes, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
Close the lid and set the Instant Pot to manual high pressure for 15 minutes. Once the cooking time is complete, allow the pressure to release naturally for 10 minutes, then quick release any remaining pressure.
Open the lid and stir the soup. Adjust seasoning if needed. Serve hot.
