Ingredients

  • 4 Eggs
  • 2 tablespoon Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Mirin
  • 1 teaspoon Soy sauce
  • 1 pinch Salt

Instructions 

  1. In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs thoroughly.
  2. Add sugar, mirin, soy sauce, and salt to the eggs. Mix well.
  3. Heat the tamagoyaki pan over medium heat and lightly oil it.
  4. Pour a thin layer of the egg mixture into the pan. When it starts to set, roll it up using chopsticks.
  5. Push the rolled egg to one side of the pan and pour another thin layer of the egg mixture. Repeat the process until all the egg mixture is used.
  6. Remove the rolled omelette from the pan and let it cool slightly before slicing.
