A delicious Puerto Rican sandwich made with fried plantains instead of bread.

Main Ingredients
- 4 Green plantains
- 1 lb Skirt steak
- 1 cup Lettuce shredded
- 1 cup Tomato sliced
- 1 cup Mayonnaise
- 1 cup Garlic minced
- 1 cup Vegetable oil for frying
Peel the plantains and cut them in half lengthwise.
Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
Fry the plantains until golden brown, then flatten them using a plate or a tostonera.
Fry the flattened plantains again until crispy.
Season the steak with salt and pepper, then cook it in the same pan until desired doneness.
Spread mayonnaise and minced garlic on the fried plantains.
Assemble the sandwich with steak, lettuce, and tomato between two plantain slices.
Serve immediately.
