Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • ¼ cup vegetable oil
  • ¼ cup white sugar
  • ½ cup unpopped popcorn kernels
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Instructions 

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add the popcorn kernels and sugar, and stir to coat.
  3. Cover the pot with a lid, and shake the pot constantly to keep the sugar from burning.
  4. Once popping slows to about 2-3 seconds between pops, remove the pot from heat and continue to shake for a few moments.
  5. Pour the kettle corn into a large bowl and sprinkle with salt. Stir to coat evenly.
