Sweet and salty kettle corn made at home.

- ¼ cup vegetable oil
- ¼ cup white sugar
- ½ cup unpopped popcorn kernels
- ½ teaspoon salt
Heat the vegetable oil in a large pot over medium heat.
Add the popcorn kernels and sugar, and stir to coat.
Cover the pot with a lid, and shake the pot constantly to keep the sugar from burning.
Once popping slows to about 2-3 seconds between pops, remove the pot from heat and continue to shake for a few moments.
Pour the kettle corn into a large bowl and sprinkle with salt. Stir to coat evenly.
