  • 12 pieces Quail Eggs
  • 1 cup Flour
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Annatto Powder for color
  • 2 cups Cooking Oil for frying

Instructions 

  1. Boil the quail eggs for about 3-5 minutes. Let them cool, then peel.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, water, baking powder, salt, and annatto powder. Mix well to form a batter.
  3. Heat the cooking oil in a deep fryer or deep pan.
  4. Dip each quail egg into the batter, ensuring it is fully coated.
  5. Carefully drop the coated eggs into the hot oil. Fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes.
  6. Remove the eggs using a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
  7. Serve hot with a dipping sauce of your choice.
