  • 1 cup long grain white rice
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions 

  1. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the rice and cook, stirring frequently, until golden brown.
  3. Stir in the chicken broth, tomato sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, and salt.
  4. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and cover. Simmer for 20-25 minutes, or until the rice is tender and the liquid is absorbed.
  5. Fluff with a fork and serve.
