  • 1 lb Ground beef
  • 1 cup Soy grits
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour for dredging
  • 1 cup Vegetable oil for frying
  • 4 Hamburger buns
  • 1 cup Pickles sliced
  • 1 Onion sliced
  • 1 tablespoon Mustard

Instructions 

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, soy grits, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  2. Form the mixture into 4 patties.
  3. Dredge each patty in all-purpose flour, shaking off any excess.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  5. Fry the patties until golden brown and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  6. Drain on paper towels.
  7. Assemble the burgers by placing each patty on a hamburger bun and topping with pickles, onions, and mustard.
