- 4 slices Bread white or whole grain
- 2 slices Ham
- 2 slices Turkey
- 2 slices Swiss Cheese
- 2 large Eggs beaten
- ¼ cup Milk
- 1 tablespoon Butter
- 1 tablespoon Powdered Sugar optional, for dusting
- 1 tablespoon Jam optional, for serving
1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk.
2. Assemble the sandwiches by layering ham, turkey, and cheese between two slices of bread.
3. Dip each sandwich into the egg mixture, making sure to coat both sides well.
4. Heat the butter in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the sandwiches until golden brown on both sides and the cheese is melted, about 3-4 minutes per side.
5. Dust with powdered sugar and serve with jam, if desired.
