Ingredients

  • 2 cups new potatoes halved
  • 2 cups carrots sliced
  • 1 cup green beans trimmed
  • 1 cup peas fresh or frozen
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • to taste salt and pepper

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil.
  2. 2. Add potatoes and carrots, cook until tender, about 10 minutes.
  3. 3. Add green beans and peas, cook for another 5 minutes.
  4. 4. Drain the vegetables and return to the pot.
  5. 5. Add butter and cream, stir gently to combine.
  6. 6. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve warm.
