Ingredients

  • 1 cup Orzo
  • 2 tablespoon Butter
  • 3 cloves Garlic minced
  • 2 cups Chicken Broth
  • ½ cup Parmesan Cheese grated
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black Pepper
  • 2 tablespoon Fresh Parsley chopped

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. 2. Add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. 3. Stir in the orzo and cook for 2-3 minutes until lightly toasted.
  4. 4. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer until orzo is tender and liquid is absorbed, about 15 minutes.
  5. 5. Remove from heat and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  6. 6. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
