Dough
- 2 cups All-purpose flour
- 0.5 teaspoon Salt
- 0.5 cup Cold butter cubed
- 0.5 cup Cold water
Filling
- 1 cup Diced beef
- 1 cup Diced potatoes
- 0.5 cup Diced onions
- 0.5 cup Diced carrots
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a large bowl, mix flour and salt. Cut in the cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Gradually add cold water, mixing until the dough forms a ball. Wrap in plastic and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
In another bowl, combine beef, potatoes, onions, carrots, salt, and pepper.
Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about ⅛ inch thick. Cut into 6-inch circles.
Place a portion of the filling on one half of each circle. Fold over and crimp the edges to seal. Place on a baking sheet.
Bake for 50-60 minutes or until golden brown.
