  • 4 cups Beets, sliced
  • 1 cup White vinegar
  • ½ cup Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Water

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a saucepan, combine vinegar, sugar, salt, and water. Bring to a boil.
  2. 2. Add sliced beets to the mixture and simmer for 15 minutes.
  3. 3. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  4. 4. Transfer beets and liquid to a jar and refrigerate for at least 24 hours before serving.
