Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground beef
  • 4 Burger buns
  • 1 cup Pizza sauce
  • 1 cup Mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Instructions 

  1. 1. Preheat your skillet over medium heat.
  2. 2. Form the ground beef into 4 patties and season with salt and pepper.
  3. 3. Cook the patties in the skillet for about 4-5 minutes on each side, until fully cooked.
  4. 4. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  5. 5. Place the cooked patties on the bottom half of each burger bun.
  6. 6. Spoon pizza sauce over each patty, then sprinkle with mozzarella cheese and Italian seasoning.
  7. 7. Place the burgers on a baking sheet and bake in the oven for about 5 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. 8. Top with the other half of the burger buns and serve hot.
