- 1 piece Prime Rib Roast (about 6 pounds)
- 2 tablespoon Olive Oil
- 4 cloves Garlic (minced)
- 1 tablespoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
- 2 tablespoon Fresh Rosemary (chopped)
Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).
Rub the prime rib with olive oil, garlic, salt, pepper, and rosemary.
Place the prime rib in a roasting pan, fat side up.
Roast for 15 minutes, then reduce the oven temperature to 325°F (165°C).
Continue roasting until the meat reaches your desired level of doneness, about 2 hours for medium-rare.
Let the roast rest for 15-20 minutes before carving.
