- 2 tablespoon Butter
- 2 tablespoon All-purpose flour
- 1 cup Milk
- 1 cup Sharp cheddar cheese, grated
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 4 slices Bread, toasted
Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
Whisk in the flour and cook for 1-2 minutes.
Gradually add the milk, whisking constantly until the mixture thickens.
Add the grated cheese, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir until the cheese is melted and the mixture is smooth.
Pour the cheese mixture over the toasted bread slices.
Place the slices under the grill until the top is bubbly and golden brown.
