Red Beans and Rice Recipe

Main Ingredients
- 1 cup Dried red beans soaked overnight
- 1 cup Rice
- 1 medium Onion chopped
- 2 cloves Garlic minced
- 1 medium Green bell pepper chopped
- 1 stalk Celery chopped
- 1 teaspoon Thyme dried
- 1 teaspoon Paprika
- 1 teaspoon Salt to taste
- 1 teaspoon Black pepper to taste
- 4 cups Water
- 1. Rinse and soak the red beans overnight. 
- 2. In a large pot, sauté the onion, garlic, bell pepper, and celery until soft. 
- 3. Add the soaked beans, water, thyme, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Bring to a boil. 
- 4. Reduce heat and simmer for about 45 minutes, or until beans are tender. 
- 5. Cook the rice according to package instructions. 
- 6. Serve the beans over the cooked rice.
