Sausage Strata Recipe

Main Ingredients
- 1 lb Italian sausage cooked and crumbled
- 6 cups Bread cubes day-old
- 2 cups Cheddar cheese shredded
- 2 cups Milk
- 6 Eggs beaten
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Black pepper
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). 
- In a skillet, cook and crumble the sausage over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat. 
- In a large mixing bowl, combine bread cubes, cooked sausage, and shredded cheese. 
- In another bowl, whisk together milk, beaten eggs, salt, and black pepper. 
- Pour the egg mixture over the bread mixture and stir until well combined. 
- Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and bake for 45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the strata is set. 
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
