- 5 pounds Beef Brisket trimmed
- 2 tablespoons Kosher Salt
- 2 tablespoons Black Pepper coarsely ground
- 1 tablespoon Garlic Powder
1. Preheat your smoker to 225°F (107°C).
2. Mix the salt, pepper, and garlic powder together in a bowl.
3. Rub the spice mixture all over the brisket.
4. Place the brisket in the smoker, fat side up.
5. Smoke the brisket until it reaches an internal temperature of 195°F (90°C), about 10 hours.
6. Remove the brisket from the smoker and let it rest for at least 30 minutes before slicing.
