  • 2 tablespoons Black Pepper coarsely ground
  • 1 tablespoon Garlic Powder

Instructions 

  1. 1. Preheat your smoker to 225°F (107°C).
  2. 2. Mix the salt, pepper, and garlic powder together in a bowl.
  3. 3. Rub the spice mixture all over the brisket.
  4. 4. Place the brisket in the smoker, fat side up.
  5. 5. Smoke the brisket until it reaches an internal temperature of 195°F (90°C), about 10 hours.
  6. 6. Remove the brisket from the smoker and let it rest for at least 30 minutes before slicing.
