  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 cup water

Instructions 

  1. Combine strawberries, sugar, lemon juice, and water in a saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
  3. Reduce heat and simmer for 10-15 minutes until strawberries are soft and syrup thickens.
  4. Strain the syrup through a strainer to remove the strawberry solids.
