Ingredients

  • 8 slices Bread preferably thick slices
  • 4 oz Cream Cheese softened
  • 1 cup Strawberries sliced
  • 2 tablespoon Sugar
  • 4 Eggs beaten
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoon Butter for cooking

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Stir in sliced strawberries.
  2. 2. Spread the cream cheese mixture on 4 slices of bread and top with the remaining slices to make sandwiches.
  3. 3. In another bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and cinnamon.
  4. 4. Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  5. 5. Dip each sandwich in the egg mixture, coating both sides.
  6. 6. Cook sandwiches in the skillet until golden brown on both sides, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  7. 7. Serve warm with maple syrup or powdered sugar.
