Instructions
In a saucepan, combine rice vinegar, water, sugar, fish sauce, soy sauce, minced garlic, and red chili flakes. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
Reduce heat and let it simmer for about 5 minutes.
Mix cornstarch with 2 tablespoon water to make a slurry. Add to the saucepan and stir well.
Continue to cook for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
Remove from heat and let it cool. Store in a jar and refrigerate.
