Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 8 cups water
  • 6 bags black tea
  • 1 cup sugar
  • teaspoon baking soda

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil.
  2. 2. Remove from heat and add tea bags. Let steep for 10 minutes.
  3. 3. Remove tea bags and stir in sugar until dissolved.
  4. 4. Add baking soda and stir.
  5. 5. Pour tea into a pitcher and add remaining 6 cups of cold water. Stir well.
  6. 6. Refrigerate until chilled. Serve over ice.
