Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • ½ cup soy sauce
  • ¼ cup water
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 2 teaspoon cornstarch
  • ¼ cup cold water for cornstarch slurry
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon minced ginger

Instructions 

  1. In a saucepan, combine soy sauce, ¼ cup water, brown sugar, honey, garlic, and ginger. Bring to a simmer over medium heat.
  2. In a small bowl, mix cornstarch with ¼ cup cold water until dissolved. Add to the saucepan.
  3. Stir the sauce constantly until it thickens to your desired consistency. Remove from heat and let it cool.
