Ingredients

  • 4 large carrots peeled and cut into sticks
  • 1 cup vinegar white or apple cider
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
  • 1 teaspoon dill seeds

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a saucepan, combine vinegar, water, sugar, and salt. Bring to a boil.
  2. 2. Place carrot sticks in a jar. Add mustard seeds and dill seeds.
  3. 3. Pour the hot vinegar mixture over the carrots. Let cool to room temperature.
  4. 4. Seal the jar and refrigerate for at least 24 hours before serving.
