  3. 3. Beat the cream with a hand mixer on medium speed until it starts to thicken.
  4. 4. Add sugar and vanilla extract, then continue to beat until stiff peaks form.
  5. 5. Serve immediately or store in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
