Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 4 large Russet Potatoes peeled and cut into sticks
  • 1 liter Vegetable Oil for frying
  • to taste Salt

Instructions 

  1. 1. Peel and cut the potatoes into sticks.
  2. 2. Soak the potato sticks in cold water for at least 30 minutes.
  3. 3. Heat the oil in a deep fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  4. 4. Fry the potatoes in batches for 3-4 minutes until they are pale and soft. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  5. 5. Increase the oil temperature to 400°F (200°C).
  6. 6. Fry the potatoes again in batches for 2-3 minutes until golden and crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  7. 7. Season with salt to taste and serve immediately.
